From Jaflong, start by heading northwest on the main road towards the Dawki River. Continue on this road for about 30 km. You will reach the border area near Dawki. From there, follow the signs leading to Meghalaya. You'll need to pass through the Dawki checkpoint, where you may need to show identification and pay a small fee (around 100-200 BDT) for crossing. After crossing, continue on the road to Shillong. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. As you approach Shillong, follow signs for the Shillong Peak, which is located about 10 km from the city center.

From Jaflong, catch a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Shillong. The bus station is located near the main market area. The fare should be around 200-300 BDT per person. The journey will take approximately 2-3 hours. Upon reaching Shillong, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, you can take a local taxi to Shillong Peak. The taxi ride will cost around 500-800 BDT and will take about 30 minutes. Ensure to confirm the fare before starting the ride.
