Experience Bangladesh View Point

Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the city of Sylhet, take the Sylhet to Jaintiapur road (also known as SH 5). Continue on SH 5 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the border at Laittyra. The Bangladesh View Point is located just after crossing into Meghalaya, India. Make sure to carry your passport as you will be crossing an international border. There might be a nominal border crossing fee of around 500 BDT. Park your car in available parking spaces nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    From Sylhet city, you can take a direct bus to Jaintiapur. Buses usually run every 30 minutes and the fare is around 100 BDT. Once you reach Jaintiapur, you will need to hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to take you to the Bangladesh View Point, which is about 10 kilometers away. Expect to pay around 300 BDT for the taxi ride. Ensure to have your passport as you will be crossing into India.
