Car
From Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary, head south on the main road towards the village of Crooked Tree. After approximately 10 minutes, you'll reach the junction where you turn left onto the Philip Goldson Highway (also known as the Northern Highway). Continue on this highway for about 20 miles (32 km) until you see signs for the town of Belize City. Stay on the highway until you reach the turn for the Hummingbird Highway, which is on your right. Follow the Hummingbird Highway for about 30 miles (48 km) until you reach Springfield. Look for signs directing you to 1000 Foot Falls. The falls are approximately 5 miles (8 km) from the highway, and you may need to rely on local guides or signs to navigate the final stretch.

Public Transportation
To reach 1000 Foot Falls via public transportation, start at Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary and take a local bus or shuttle to Belize City. Once in Belize City, find the bus terminal and take a bus heading towards Dangriga. Inform the driver that you need to get off at the junction for the Hummingbird Highway. From there, you can either catch another local bus or hire a taxi to take you to Springfield and then to 1000 Foot Falls. Expect to pay a small fare for each leg of your journey, and be prepared for potential wait times between connections.
