Walking
From the center of Punakha, head north towards the Punakha Dzong. Once you reach the Dzong, cross the bridge over the Pho Chhu River. After crossing, follow the path that leads to a small village road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a sign for Chimi Lhakhang. From the sign, take the left path which will lead you through a picturesque countryside. Keep walking for another 20-30 minutes, and you will arrive at Chimi Lhakhang Village Homestay, located in Teoprongchu.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Punakha. Start your journey by biking towards the Punakha Dzong. Upon reaching the Dzong, cross the bridge over the Pho Chhu River. After the bridge, follow the road leading north and make sure to keep an eye out for the sign directing you to Chimi Lhakhang. The entire route is approximately 5 kilometers, and you can expect a scenic ride through the rural landscape. After about 20-30 minutes of cycling, you will arrive at Chimi Lhakhang Village Homestay.

Trekking
If you enjoy trekking, begin your adventure from the Punakha Dzong. Trek along the riverside path on the Pho Chhu River for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach a fork. Take the left path leading towards Chimi Lhakhang. The trek will take you through lush rice fields and small villages. It is advisable to wear comfortable trekking shoes and bring water, as the trek can take roughly 1 hour. Once you follow the path, you will eventually reach Chimi Lhakhang Village Homestay.
