Car
From central Cochabamba, take Av. Heroínas heading east. Continue straight for about 8 km until you reach the intersection with Av. 6 de Agosto. Turn left onto Av. 6 de Agosto. Drive for approximately 15 km until you see signs for Trópico de Cochabamba. Follow the signs towards the town of Villa Tunari. The journey will take about 1 hour depending on traffic. Keep in mind that there might be tolls along the way, so carry some cash.
Public Transportation
From the main bus terminal in Cochabamba, purchase a ticket to Villa Tunari. Buses leave frequently throughout the day and the journey takes about 2 to 3 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Villa Tunari bus station, you can take a local taxi or a shared minivan to Trópico de Cochabamba.
