Getting There

  • Air Travel

The most common way to reach Kwara Camp is by flying into Maun Airport (MUB), the gateway to the Okavango Delta. From Maun, a light aircraft transfer of approximately 45 minutes will take you to the Kwara Airstrip. The camp is then a short 10-15 minute drive from the airstrip. These flights typically cost between $200-$400 USD per person each way.

  • Road Transfer

While less common, it may be possible to arrange a road transfer from Maun to Kwara Camp, though this would involve a significantly longer travel time (several hours) over potentially rough terrain. This option would require a specialized 4x4 vehicle and an experienced driver familiar with the area. Prices vary greatly depending on the operator, distance and vehicle but could be in the range of $300-$600 USD.
