If you are staying in Vila dos Remédios, the main town, you can walk towards Morro do Pico. Follow the main road (BR-363) towards the south. Look for signs indicating the direction of Morro do Pico. The walk is approximately 2-3 kilometers and will take around 30-45 minutes. Be prepared for some uphill sections. There are no costs associated with walking.
Public Transport

Take the local bus from Vila dos Remédios towards Sueste. The bus fare is R$5.00 (Brazilian Reais) and is paid directly to the driver. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Morro do Pico. From the bus stop, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the trail leading to the base of Morro do Pico. The walk from the bus stop to the base of Morro do Pico is approximately 15-20 minutes.
