Getting There

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available throughout Fernando de Noronha. A taxi ride from Vila dos Remedios to the Trilha Atalaia trailhead will cost approximately R$35-R$50. Confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in Vila do Trinta, you can walk to the Trilha Atalaia trailhead. The walk is approximately 1.5km and takes about 20-30 minutes. Follow the main road towards the ICMBio visitor center, and then follow the signs to the trail entrance.

Visitors must book their hike in advance through the ICMBio (Instituto Chico Mendes de Conservação da Biodiversidade) and may be required to have a certified guide. This ensures the preservation of the natural pools and the safety of the marine life. The trail is open from 7 AM to 2 PM.
