Getting There

  From the heart of Rio Vermelho, head north on Rua da Paciência. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Avenida Paulistana. Turn left onto Avenida Paulistana and walk for about 500 meters. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua da Liberdade, which will lead you directly into the Centro area. Continue straight until you see signs for Praça Tomé de Souza, where Rio Branco Palace is located.

  From Rio Vermelho, find the nearest bus stop on Avenida Sete de Setembro. Take bus number 1001 or 1002 towards the city center (Centro). The ride takes about 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
