From Serra dos Órgãos National Park, take RJ-116 towards the city of Teresópolis. Follow the signs for BR-040, which will lead you towards Rio de Janeiro. Continue on BR-040 for approximately 45 km until you reach the exit for Rio de Janeiro Centro (Centre). After exiting, follow the signs for Centro and merge onto Avenida Presidente Vargas.
