Getting There

  • Driving

    From Cruz Bay, drive east along either North Shore Road or Centerline Road towards Coral Bay. Turn right onto Route 107 and continue for approximately 4 miles until you see the parking lot for Salt Pond Bay on your left. Parking is free, but the lot can fill up quickly, especially during peak season, so arrive early.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available from Cruz Bay to the Ram Head trailhead. Arrange for a return trip in advance, as taxis do not routinely patrol the area. A one-way taxi ride from Cruz Bay to Salt Pond Bay costs approximately $30-$40.

  • Walking

    From the Salt Pond Bay parking lot, walk a quarter mile down the old road bed to Salt Pond Bay. Continue along the beach to the far end, where you'll find the trailhead that leads to Ram Head. Follow the rocky path as it ascends towards the peak.
