If you are driving from the town of Rila, head north on the main road (E79) towards the Rila Monastery. Follow the signs for Rila Monastery, which is approximately 12 km away. After about 10 minutes of driving, you will reach the entrance of Rila Monastery. Parking is available near the monastery. There may be a small parking fee of around 2-5 BGN.

From Rila, take a bus to Rila Monastery. Buses depart from the Rila bus station regularly, with a journey time of about 30 minutes. The bus fare is typically around 3-5 BGN. Upon arrival, you will disembark at the Rila Monastery bus stop, and from there, it is a short walk to the entrance of Nature Park Rila Monastery.
