Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of UC Berkeley campus, head southeast towards the intersection of Telegraph Avenue and Bancroft Way. Continue walking south on Telegraph Avenue until you reach the intersection with Bancroft Way. Turn left onto Bancroft Way and continue until you reach the intersection with College Avenue. Turn right on College Avenue and walk until you reach the traffic light at the intersection with Centennial Drive. Cross College Avenue and continue straight on Centennial Drive. After approximately 0.5 miles, you will find the entrance to the University of California Botanical Garden on your left at 200 Centennial Dr. The garden is open from 10 AM to 5 PM daily, and there is an admission fee of $10 for adults.

    If you prefer to take public transportation, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the intersection of Bancroft Way and Telegraph Avenue. Board the AC Transit bus number 65 heading towards the North Berkeley BART. Ride the bus for 4 stops until you reach the stop at Centennial Drive. From the bus stop, walk a short distance south on Centennial Drive to reach the University of California Botanical Garden. Please note that the bus fare is $2.50 for adults.
