From anywhere in Carmel-by-the-Sea, head towards Ocean Avenue and walk east until you reach San Carlos Street. Turn left on San Carlos and continue walking until you reach 7th Avenue. At 7th Avenue, turn right and walk until you reach the main road, Highway 1. Cross the highway and continue straight on 7th Avenue until it turns into Beach Street. Walk straight along Beach Street, and you will see the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk at 400 Beach St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Start by heading towards Ocean Avenue and follow the same route as walking towards San Carlos Street. Once you reach San Carlos, turn left and head to 7th Avenue. When you reach the intersection with Highway 1, cross the road and continue on 7th Avenue, which will lead you directly to Beach Street. Enjoy the bike ride along the scenic route as you approach the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

To reach Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk via public transportation, first make your way to the nearest bus stop in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Take the Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) Bus Line 1 towards Santa Cruz. Once you arrive at the Santa Cruz Transit Center, transfer to the Santa Cruz Metro Bus Line 1 or 2, which will take you directly to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Disembark at the stop closest to Beach Street, and follow the signs to the Boardwalk located at 400 Beach St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060.
