From Castro Valley, walk to the nearest bus stop at Castro Valley BART Station. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City and get off at the Embarcadero Station. Once you exit the station, transfer to the Muni Bus #30 or #45 and ride towards the Bay Bridge. Get off at the stop nearest to the San Francisco – Oakland Bay Bridge. Follow the pedestrian paths to enjoy the views of the bridge.

Public Transport (BART and Muni)
Start at Castro Valley BART Station and board a BART train heading to San Francisco/Daly City. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Powell Street Station. From there, walk to the Powell St & Market St Muni Station and take the Muni T line towards Sunnydale. Get off at the Embarcadero Station. From there, follow the directions to the Bay Bridge as mentioned earlier.

If you prefer to walk, start from Castro Valley downtown and walk to the Castro Valley BART Station (approximately 10-15 minutes). Take a BART train towards San Francisco, and get off at the Embarcadero Station. Once you’re off, walk towards the waterfront area, and you will be able to see the Bay Bridge. Continue walking to find the best viewpoints along the shore.
