    From Castro Valley BART station, take bus line 33 towards Hayward. Get off at the 'Hayward Transit Center' after approximately 15 minutes. Transfer to bus line 35, which will take you towards the 'San Francisco' direction. After about 30 minutes, get off at 'Marin City'. From Marin City, catch the bus line 61 towards Sausalito. Stay on this bus for about 15 minutes and disembark at 'Sausalito Ferry Terminal'. From the terminal, it's a short walk to the Sausalito Wooden Boat Tour located at 150 Harbor Drive #124, which is approximately a 5-minute walk along the waterfront.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Castro Valley. Start from downtown Castro Valley and head west towards the Bay Trail. Follow the Bay Trail north along the waterfront. The ride to Sausalito will take approximately 1 hour, covering around 10 miles.     If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, starting from downtown Castro Valley, walk towards the nearest bus stop and take bus line 33 to Hayward Transit Center. This journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours including walking time to and from the bus stops.
