    From the center of Joshua Tree, you can start your journey towards the Hidden Valley Nature Trail Trailhead by heading north on Park Boulevard. Continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with National Park Drive. At this point, turn right onto National Park Drive and walk another 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park on your left. Continue on National Park Drive for approximately 2 miles, and you will find the Hidden Valley Nature Trail Trailhead on your left side, just past the Hidden Valley Campground.

  • Biking

    Start at the center of Joshua Tree and head north on Park Boulevard. After about a mile, make a right turn onto National Park Drive. Continue biking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Once inside, keep following National Park Drive for approximately 2 miles. The Hidden Valley Nature Trail Trailhead will be on your left side, just after passing the Hidden Valley Campground. Be sure to watch for traffic and park regulations.

  • Public Transport and Walking

    If you are using public transport, take the JTNP Shuttle that operates during the tourist season. You can catch the shuttle from various points in Joshua Tree. Board the shuttle and request to be dropped off at the Hidden Valley stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the Hidden Valley Nature Trail Trailhead, which will be easily visible as you approach the area. If the shuttle isn't available, consider using a rideshare service to reach the Hidden Valley entrance directly.
