From Davenport, head north on Highway 1 for approximately 7.5 miles. The entrance to Rancho del Oso Nature and History Center will be on your right, just before the Waddell Creek Bridge. Look for the small brown "Nature Center" sign and turn right onto the dirt road. The Nature and History Center is approximately 1/4 mile inland. Parking is available near the center. Be aware that parking can be limited, especially on weekends. From Santa Cruz, head north on Highway 1 for approximately 17 miles. After passing Greyhound Rock parking area, continue for another 1.3 miles. The entrance to the Rancho del Oso Nature and History Center will be on your right, just before the Waddell Creek Bridge. Look for the small brown "Nature Center" sign and turn right onto the dirt road. The Nature and History Center is approximately 1/4 mile inland. Parking is available near the center. Be aware that parking can be limited, especially on weekends.

From Santa Cruz, take the Santa Cruz Metro Line 40 bus towards Davenport. Get off at the Hwy 1 & Davenport Ave stop in Davenport. From there, walk north along Highway 1 for approximately 7.5 miles. The entrance to Rancho del Oso Nature and History Center will be on your right, just before the Waddell Creek Bridge. Look for the small brown "Nature Center" sign and turn right onto the dirt road. The Nature and History Center is approximately 1/4 mile inland. Be cautious walking along Highway 1, as there is limited shoulder in some areas. The Santa Cruz Metro Line 40 bus fare is $2-$7.
