If you are traveling by car from anywhere in the North Coast region, head south on US-101 S. Continue on US-101 S for approximately 120 miles. Take the exit toward I-80 E/San Francisco. Merge onto I-80 E and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 2C for Fremont St toward Mission St. Merge onto Fremont St and then turn right onto Mission St. The California Historical Society will be on your left at 678 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94105. Look for street parking or use nearby parking garages, which may charge a fee of around $20 for a few hours.
