From the intersection of Old Bayshore Highway and Anza Boulevard, walk south along Old Bayshore Highway. The entrance to the Shorebird Sanctuary will be on your right, between 1404 and 1500 Old Bayshore Hwy. The walk is approximately 0.5 miles and should take about 10 minutes. There are no fees associated with walking to the sanctuary.

Take the Burlingame Bayside Shuttle (BAY) from the Millbrae BART/Caltrain station to Old Bayshore Highway. The shuttle is free and operates during commute hours, Monday through Friday. From the shuttle stop, walk a short distance to the sanctuary entrance between 1404 and 1500 Old Bayshore Hwy. Alternatively, SamTrans bus routes also serve the area. Check SamTrans schedules for specific routes and times. A single ride on SamTrans costs $2.50.

From Highway 101, exit at Broadway in Burlingame. Head east, then turn left onto Old Bayshore Highway. Continue north on Old Bayshore Highway until you reach the sanctuary between 1404 and 1500.
