Public Transit
From downtown Walnut Creek, walk to the Walnut Creek BART station located at 200 Ygnacio Valley Rd, Walnut Creek, CA 94596. Once at the station, board a train heading east towards the Pittsburg/Bay Point direction. After a few stops, get off at the Concord BART station. From there, transfer to bus line 10 at the bus terminal. The bus will take you towards the Diablo Foothills Regional Park. Get off at the stop closest to 'Castle Rock Rd' near the park entrance. Walk a short distance (about 0.5 miles) to reach the park entrance at 1700 Castle Rock Rd.

If you prefer biking, start from downtown Walnut Creek and head east on Ygnacio Valley Rd. Continue until you reach the intersection with Castle Rock Rd. Take a left onto Castle Rock Rd, and follow the road which will lead you directly into the Diablo Foothills Regional Park. The bike ride is approximately 3 miles and offers a scenic route along the way.

For those who wish to walk, begin at the Walnut Creek Civic Park located at 1375 Civic Dr, Walnut Creek, CA 94596. Head east on Civic Dr until you reach the intersection with Ygnacio Valley Rd. Turn left and continue until you reach the intersection with Castle Rock Rd. Turn right onto Castle Rock Rd and walk straight for about 2 miles until you arrive at the park entrance at 1700 Castle Rock Rd.
