If you're traveling by car, head to the Markham Museum located at 9350 Markham Rd, Markham, ON L3P 3J3. From downtown Toronto, take the ON-401 E highway. Merge onto ON-404 N and continue until you reach the exit for Major Mackenzie Dr E. Turn right onto Major Mackenzie Dr E, then turn left onto Markham Rd. The museum will be on your right. There is free parking available on-site.
Public Transportation - GO Transit
You can take the GO Train from Union Station in downtown Toronto to the Markham GO Station. Once you arrive at Markham GO Station, transfer to YRT Bus #1 (Highway 7). Get off at the stop for Markham Rd & Major Mackenzie Dr E. From there, it's a short walk to the museum, which is approximately 1 km away (about 15 minutes on foot). Note that the GO Train fare may vary, so check the current costs on the GO Transit website.
