Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, take the Carretera Austral (Ruta 7) and head towards Villa Cerro Castillo. The hostel is located at Kilometer 100 along this scenic route. As you approach Villa Cerro Castillo, watch for the signs indicating the hostel's location. Once you reach Kilometer 100, you will find Hostel Senderos Patagonia y Excursiones on the right side of the road. There is parking available at the hostel.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Hostel Senderos Patagonia y Excursiones via public transportation, you can take a bus from Coyhaique to Villa Cerro Castillo. The bus ride generally takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Villa Cerro Castillo bus terminal, you can either walk or take a taxi to the hostel, which is approximately 5 kilometers away. If you choose to walk, follow the Carretera Austral heading south for about 1 hour. Taxis are available at the bus terminal, and the fare should be around 3,000 to 5,000 CLP.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can also hire a taxi from Coyhaique directly to Hostel Senderos Patagonia y Excursiones. This option is more expensive but offers convenience, especially if you are traveling in a group or have a lot of luggage. The taxi ride will take approximately 1 hour and may cost between 30,000 to 40,000 CLP.
