If you are starting from the main square of San Pedro de Atacama (Plaza de San Pedro), head south on Caracoles Street, which is the main street leading out of the plaza. Continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Toconao. Turn right onto Calle Toconao and walk for another 10 minutes. You will reach a small park area; Plaza de Santiago de Río Grande is located at the end of this street on your left. Look for the park signs to guide you.

Starting from the San Pedro de Atacama Church, exit the church and head east towards the main road (Calle Licancabur). Turn left and walk north for about 10 minutes. You should see a sign for Plaza de Santiago de Río Grande to your right as you approach the park area. Follow the path leading to the park.
