Walking
From the center of San Pedro de Atacama, head east on Calle Caracoles. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Toconao. Turn left onto Calle Toconao and walk until you reach the main road, Ruta 23. Cross the road and continue on the path that leads towards Catarpe. Follow the well-marked trails towards the Valle Escondida area, which is approximately 2.5 kilometers from the town center. The path will lead you through beautiful landscapes and eventually bring you to the entrance of Valle Escondida.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in San Pedro de Atacama. Once you have your bike, head east on Calle Caracoles. Ride straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Toconao, then turn left. Continue cycling until you reach Ruta 23. Cross the road and follow the signs towards Catarpe. Stay on the designated bike paths towards Valle Escondida, which is about 2.5 kilometers from the town center. Enjoy the scenic ride and look out for markers leading to the valley.
