Once you reach Cajamarca, look for signs directing you to Cañon del río Tochecito. The final stretch involves following local roads, so a GPS or maps app is essential. As you approach the canyon, be prepared for unpaved roads; a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

From Armenia, take a bus to Cajamarca. Buses leave frequently from the main terminal, and the trip takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Cajamarca, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Cañon del río Tochecito. Ensure to agree on a fare before starting your journey, which should be around 20,000 to 30,000 COP depending on the distance. Note that public transport might not take you directly to the canyon, and a short trek may be required.
