If you are starting from the main square, Plaza de Bolivar, head southeast on Calle 19 towards Carrera 8. Continue straight for about 200 meters until you reach Carrera 9. Turn left onto Carrera 9 and walk for another 300 meters. The Cathedral Basilica of St. James the Apostle will be on your right at Cra. 9 #19 44.

From the Tunja bus terminal, take a local bus heading towards the city center. Ask the driver to drop you off at Plaza de Bolivar. Once you arrive, follow the walking directions from Plaza de Bolivar to the Cathedral, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.

If you have access to a bicycle, rent one and start from the Tunja bus terminal. Cycle towards Plaza de Bolivar. Once there, continue southeast on Calle 19 towards Carrera 8, and then turn left onto Carrera 9. After cycling for about 300 meters, you will see the Cathedral Basilica of St. James the Apostle on your right.
