Car
If you're traveling by car, take Interstate 70 (I-70) towards Idaho Springs. From Denver, it's about a 30-minute drive. Take exit 240 for Idaho Springs. Continue on Colorado 103 from the exit, following the signs for Idaho Springs. Once you reach Idaho Springs, turn left onto Miner Street, and the Historical Society of Idaho Springs & Visitor Center will be on your right at 2060 Miner St. There is street parking available, but be mindful of any parking regulations.

For public transportation, you can take the Bustang service from Denver to Idaho Springs. Board the Bustang at the Union Station in downtown Denver. This service runs several times a day, and tickets can be purchased online or at the station. Once you arrive in Idaho Springs, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles to reach the Historical Society of Idaho Springs & Visitor Center. Head east on Colorado 103 and turn left onto Miner Street. The Visitor Center will be on your right at 2060 Miner St.
