    From any point in the Uncompahgre Plateau, head towards Ohio City, CO. Take CO-135 N from the plateau area, following signs for Crested Butte. After approximately 12 miles, you will reach Ohio City. From there, continue on County Road 742 (also known as Gothic Road) for about 8 miles until you reach the entrance of Gunnison National Forest. Be aware that some unpaved roads may require a high-clearance vehicle.
