To reach Cliff Palace by car, start from the Mesa Verde National Park Visitor Center, located at 27501 Highway 160, Mesa Verde National Park, CO 81330. From the Visitor Center, head south on CO-160 W for approximately 4 miles until you reach the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park. After entering the park, follow the signs for Cliff Palace by taking a right onto the Mesa Top Loop Road. Continue on this road for about 6 miles until you reach the Cliff Palace parking area. There is no fee to park, but keep in mind that a park entrance fee is required, which is $20 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.
