Car
If you are driving to Balcony House, start on US-160 W from any location in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Follow US-160 W until you reach CO-145 N. Continue on CO-145 N until you merge onto US-491 N. After approximately 30 miles, take the exit for CO-184 W, which will lead you to the entrance of Mesa Verde National Park. After entering the park, follow the signs to Balcony House, which is approximately 15 miles from the entrance. Be aware that there is a park entrance fee of $25 per vehicle, which is valid for 7 days.
