From the center of Denver, take I-70 W for approximately 20 miles. Take exit 252 for CO-93 S toward Golden. Merge onto CO-93 S and continue for about 8 miles. Then, turn left onto US-6 E, which will merge into CO-74 S. Continue on CO-74 S for about 7 miles until you reach Lair o’ the Bear Park located at 22550 CO-74, Idledale, CO 80453. There is no entrance fee for the park.

From Denver Union Station, take the RTD bus route 44 towards the Golden Station. After approximately 40 minutes, get off at the stop near CO-93 & US-6 (Golden).
