Train
From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Metro-North train station located at 2 Railroad Ave. Purchase a ticket for a train heading towards Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway or exit the station to find a bus or taxi.
Bus
You can take the CT Transit bus #10 from Greenwich to the Stamford Transportation Center. From there, transfer to the Metro-North train heading to Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. The total journey time, including transfer, is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Walking and Subway
If you prefer a more scenic route after taking the train to Grand Central Terminal, you can walk to Times Square which is about 15 minutes away. Exit Grand Central and walk west on 42nd Street. Continue straight until you reach Times Square at the intersection of Broadway and 7th Avenue.
