To reach the West Village in New York City from Greenwich, start by making your way to the Greenwich Metro-North train station located at 2 Railroad Avenue. Once you arrive at the station, purchase a ticket to Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. Board the train and enjoy the scenic ride, which takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the S subway line (yellow line) and take the S train towards Times Square. After one stop, at Times Square, transfer to the 1 subway line (red line) towards South Ferry. Ride for approximately 4 stops and get off at the Christopher Street station. Exit the subway and you will be in the West Village, with plenty of cafes and shops to explore.
