    From downtown Stamford, walk to the Stamford Transportation Center located at 30 Station Place. Once there, take the Metro-North Railroad train towards Grand Central Terminal. Make sure to check the schedule for the right train times. After about a 50-minute ride, get off at the 125th Street Station in Harlem, New York. From there, transfer to the MTA subway's 2 or 3 train heading downtown towards Wall Street. Get off at the 135th Street Station and transfer to the MTA's Q train heading towards the 96th Street Station. Finally, disembark at the 63rd Street Station, where you will transfer to the Roosevelt Island Tramway, which will take you directly to Roosevelt Island. The Four Freedoms Park is a short walk from the tram station.
