Public Transport
Start by heading to the nearest bus stop in West Hartford. Take the CT Transit bus route 66 towards Hartford. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Hartford City Hall' stop. From there, you will need to transfer to bus route 53. Board the bus and travel for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Leibert Road' stop. Riverside Park will be a short walk from the bus stop. Head south on Leibert Road for about 0.3 miles, and you will find the entrance to Riverside Park on your left.
Walking
If you are close to the center of West Hartford, you can walk to Riverside Park. Start from the West Hartford Town Hall located at 50 South Main Street. Head south on South Main Street towards Farmington Avenue. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Farmington Avenue. Walk for another 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Leibert Road. Turn right onto Leibert Road. Continue straight for about 0.6 miles until you see the entrance to Riverside Park on your right.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, you can cycle to Riverside Park. Begin at the West Hartford Center, heading south on South Main Street. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Farmington Avenue. Then, take a right onto Leibert Road after approximately 0.2 miles. Cycle straight along Leibert Road for about 0.6 miles, and you will find Riverside Park on your right. There are bike racks available at the park for your convenience.
