From Muri Beach, Ariki Bungalows is approximately a 15-minute walk. Head northeast along the main road (Ara Tapu), following the coastline. You'll pass various resorts and local businesses. Tamaariki Drive will be on your right, leading directly to Ariki Bungalows.

The clockwise and anticlockwise buses circle the island regularly, except on Sundays. From anywhere on the main road (Ara Tapu), simply wave down the bus. A single ride is NZ$5. Ask the driver to stop near Tamaariki Drive in Ngatangiia District; from there, it's a short walk to Ariki Bungalows.
