Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Nikao, head west towards the main road (Ara Tapu). Once you reach the Ara Tapu road, turn left. Continue walking along Ara Tapu road for about 2.5 km. You will pass local shops and residential areas. Look out for the signs as you approach Arorangi. Tumutoa Tours is located on Te Ara Tapu Road in Inave village, which is directly accessible from Ara Tapu road. You will see the entrance to Tumutoa Tours on your right. The overall walk should take around 30 to 40 minutes.

  • Bicycle

    If you have a bicycle, start from the center of Nikao and ride west towards the main road (Ara Tapu). Turn left on Ara Tapu road and cycle for approximately 2.5 km. You will pass various shops and local sights. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the approach to Arorangi. Tumutoa Tours is situated on Te Ara Tapu Road in Inave village, accessible from Ara Tapu road. You will find the entrance on your right. The bike ride should take you about 15 to 20 minutes.

    From Nikao, walk to the nearest bus stop located along Ara Tapu road. Board a bus heading towards the Arorangi area.
