    If you're driving to Avana Passage, start from Avarua, the main town of Rarotonga. Head east on Ara Tapu (the main road) towards Ngatangiia District. Continue for about 10 minutes, passing through Muri Beach. Look for signs pointing to Ngatangiia and the Avana Passage area. Once you reach Kaireva Drive, turn right, and Avana Passage will be on your left. Parking is available nearby, and there are no entry fees.

    To reach Avana Passage via public transportation, catch the public bus from Avarua. You can board any bus heading towards the eastern side of the island. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Avana Passage. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips, as they can be infrequent.
