Getting There

Bus

From the center of La Fortuna, head to the local bus terminal located on Avenida 3. Look for a bus heading towards Monteverde or Abangares. The bus ride will take approximately 3 hours. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they stop near Canopy Extremo in Abangares. Once you get off the bus, you will need to walk about 1 km to the entrance of Canopy Extremo. Follow the main road straight ahead, and you will see signs directing you to the park.
Shuttle

You can book a shuttle service from your hotel or a nearby travel agency in La Fortuna. The shuttle will take you directly to Canopy Extremo in Abangares. This is a more comfortable option and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to arrange this in advance, and confirm your pick-up location and time with the shuttle service.
Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from La Fortuna to Canopy Extremo. Ask your hotel or a local for a reliable taxi service. The ride will take approximately 1.5 hours. Ensure that you agree on a fare before starting your journey, as taxis in Costa Rica do not always have meters.
