    If you are traveling by car, head north from the main entrance of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve. Continue on the main road towards the town of Monteverde. After approximately 1.5 km, turn right onto the road towards Santa Elena. Continue for about 750 meters until you reach Escuela Rafael Arguedas. The Ecological Sanctuary will be located just 750 meters north of the school on the same road. Look for signage along the way.

    If you are using public transportation, you can take a local bus from the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve to the town of Monteverde. Once you reach the town, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Ecological Sanctuary. To walk, head north along the main road for about 1.5 km towards Santa Elena. Once you reach Escuela Rafael Arguedas, continue walking 750 meters north, and you will see the Ecological Sanctuary on your left. The taxi fare from the town to the sanctuary should be around 2,000 to 3,000 colones.

The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
