Continue on Delaware City Rd which will lead you to the entrance of Fort DuPont State Park located on Wilmington Ave, Delaware City, DE 19706. The total distance is approximately 3 miles and may take around 10 minutes depending on traffic.

While there are limited public transportation options directly from Fort Delaware State Park to Fort DuPont State Park, you can take a taxi or rideshare service from the park to the state park. Alternatively, walk to the nearest bus stop on Clinton St and take the DART First State bus route 1 towards Wilmington. Get off at the stop at 5th St and Delaware City Rd. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk (approximately 0.7 miles) to Fort DuPont State Park located at Wilmington Ave, Delaware City, DE 19706.
