    From Lums Pond State Park, start by exiting the park and turning onto US-13 N. Continue on US-13 N for approximately 7 miles. Take the exit for DE-1 S toward Dover and follow it for about 4 miles. Merge onto I-295 N toward Wilmington. Stay on I-295 N for about 5 miles and take exit 1A for US-9 N toward Delaware City. Follow US-9 N for about 3 miles, then turn right onto Wilmington Ave. Continue on Wilmington Ave for about 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at Fort DuPont State Park, which will be on your left.
