If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to Post Ln, Lewes, DE 19958. From any point in The Atlantic Coastal Plain, follow the nearest major road to reach DE-1 S (Coastal Highway). Continue on DE-1 S until you reach the exit for Lewes. Take the exit toward Lewes Beach and merge onto Cape Henlopen Drive. Follow Cape Henlopen Drive until you reach Post Ln. Turn left on Post Ln, and the Fort Miles Museum will be on your right. There is no cost for parking, but be mindful of any designated parking signs.

For public transportation, you can use the DART First State bus service. Look for Route 204 that connects from major points in The Atlantic Coastal Plain to Lewes. Get off at the Lewes Beach stop. From there, you'll need to walk about 1.5 miles. Head east on Savannah Road, then take a left onto Cape Henlopen Drive, which will lead you to Post Ln. The Fort Miles Museum will be on your right. Please check the DART schedule for current fare prices and bus timings before your trip.
