Car
From the central area of Sierra de Neiba, head south on the main road (Carretera Neiba - Barahona). Follow this road for approximately 20 km until you reach the junction at the village of El Cachón. Take a left turn onto the road marked toward the Baoruco Mountain Range. Continue straight for about 10 km, and you will see signs for various trails and viewpoints as you approach the mountain range. Parking may be limited, so look for designated areas.

Public Transportation
Start at the main bus terminal in Sierra de Neiba. Look for a guagua (shared taxi) heading to Barahona. Inform the driver that you want to get off at El Cachón. The fare is usually around 50 pesos. Once you arrive at El Cachón, you can either walk (about 10 km) or hire a local motorcycle taxi to take you to the entrance of the Baoruco Mountain Range. Make sure to negotiate the fare with the motorcycle taxi before starting your journey.
