Ensure you have arranged this canoe transfer in advance as it is required to reach the lodge, and it typically costs around $30 per person for the round trip.

Take a bus from Quito or another major city to Lago Agrio. Once you arrive in Lago Agrio, you will need to take a taxi or local transport to the entrance of Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. From the entrance, you will then take a canoe transfer to Caiman Lodge. Make sure to pre-arrange your canoe transfer, as it is necessary to reach the lodge and costs approximately $30 per person for a round trip.
