Getting There

Walking
From the central plaza in Mindo, head west on Calle 9 de Octubre until you reach the intersection with Avenida Quito. Turn left onto Avenida Quito and continue walking for about 1.5 km. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Tandayapa. After about 1.5 km, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path, which leads you towards Tandayapa. Continue on this road for approximately 3 km, enjoying the lush scenery and possibly spotting some wildlife. As you approach Tandayapa, look for a sign indicating Tandayapa Cloud Forest Station on your right.

Bus
From the center of Mindo, walk to the bus stop located near the central plaza. Look for a bus heading to Tandayapa; these buses frequently depart throughout the day. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tandayapa, disembark at the main road. From there, walk about 500 meters down the road, and you should see the entrance to Tandayapa Cloud Forest Station on your left.

Bicycle
If you're looking to rent a bicycle in Mindo, head to one of the rental shops near the central plaza. After getting your bike, head west on Calle 9 de Octubre, turning left onto Avenida Quito. Continue cycling for approximately 1.5 km. At the fork in the road, take the left path towards Tandayapa. The remaining distance to the station is about 3 km, and it’s a scenic ride through the cloud forest. Keep an eye out for signs to ensure you're on the right track, and enjoy the fresh mountain air!
