Parking is available near the trailhead, but be aware that the road may require a vehicle with good clearance due to some rough patches.

To reach Cascada San Luis using public transportation, take a bus from Zamora to Tambo Valladolid. Buses leave frequently from the main terminal, and the fare is typically around $1.50. Once you arrive in Tambo Valladolid, you will need to hire a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi to reach El Porvenir del Carmen, as public transport does not go directly to the waterfall. The taxi ride will cost approximately $5 to $10, depending on your negotiation skills. Inform the driver that you want to go to Cascada San Luis, and they will know the way.
