Start from the Dire Dawa city center, known as 'Mekelakeya'. Head east on Haile Selassie Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Dire Dawa Street. Turn left onto Dire Dawa Street and continue walking for another 500 meters. You will pass by local shops and eateries. Once you reach the roundabout, continue straight onto the road named 'Kebele 01'. Walk for about 400 meters until you see a sign for Saint Mary Gate of Heaven Orthodox Cathedral on your right. The cathedral is located at HVX7+JHV, which is easily identifiable by its beautiful architecture.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in the city center. From the center, head east on Haile Selassie Road for about 1 kilometer. At the intersection with Dire Dawa Street, turn left and continue for approximately 500 meters. When you reach the roundabout, go straight onto 'Kebele 01'. Continue cycling for about 400 meters, and look for the sign indicating Saint Mary Gate of Heaven Orthodox Cathedral on your right. The cathedral will be visible from the road.
