If you're driving from the Oulanka National Park Visitor Center, head south on the E63 road. After approximately 15 km, take the exit toward Hautajärvi. Follow Hautajärventie for about 10 km. You will see the Memorial stone on your right at Hautajärventie 425, 98995 Hautajärvi. There is parking available nearby.

From the nearest bus stop in Oulanka National Park, take a bus heading towards Kuusamo. Confirm the bus schedule as it may vary. Get off at the Hautajärvi stop. From there, it is a 2 km walk along Hautajärventie to reach the Memorial stone at Hautajärventie 425. Be prepared for rural walking paths and ensure you have appropriate footwear.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the Oulanka National Park Visitor Center. Head south on the E63 road for about 15 km, then take the exit toward Hautajärvi.
